Join us as a Business Development Manager - Meetings & Events at Crowne Plaza Terrigal. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because for this vital role we’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual who can communicate easily to multiple stakeholders, fellow team members, clients and key accounts, with an eye for detail.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, Marketing & Revenue, you will manage the Meetings and Events sales activities in line with the annual sales and marketing plan to achieve/exceed budget for the hotel. Additionally, you'll be responsible for monitoring competitors activities and assist in gathering market intelligence, selling to new, existing and prospective customers in line with the goals set.
Based at Crowne Plaza Terrigal, you will be proactive, independent and results driven. You will use your great communication skills to build relationships and generate revenue for Crowne Plaza Terrigal.
Ideally, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications or two years hotel sales experience and posses excellent written and oral communication skills. You will be hungry and driven to over achieve your targets. You will like working in a high performing team environment who enjoys healthy conversation.
