Evolving city

Sydney is ever-changing, always reinventing and renewing. And, we're growing for the future.

It’s Sydney’s penchant for evolution and reinvention that allows big things to happen. An ambitious infrastructure and urban renewal program is underway that will transform how visitors and residents live, work and play in the future. This is not the Sydney of a decade – or even a year – ago.

International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is one such project that will both revolutionise the way Sydney hosts events and conferences and provide a revitalised work and play hub for visitors and locals alike in the bustling area that is known as Darling Harbour. Set in the heart of the harbour city, this A$1 billion development is well underway and on schedule for completion in late 2016.

However, ICC Sydney is not the only major expansion that is taking place in Sydney. There are many other big city developments taking shape right now that will ensure Sydney continues to be one of the world’s favourite places to meet and do business well into the future.
